Cook said its online stores will be open as well as the Apple Store app.
Apple will close all its stores outside China for the next two weeks in the wake of the Coronavirus epidemic.
Apple will close all its retail stores outside Greater China by March 27, CEO Tim Cook said in a letter posted on the company’s website Friday night.
“In our workplaces and communities, we must do all we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Apple will be temporarily closing all stores outside of Greater China until March 27 and committing $15M to help with worldwide recovery,” Cook said on Twitter.
Apple has already moved to an online format, replacing several days of public meetings by attending a worldwide developer conference in California in June.
